His special interest is persistent pain that's not been resolved with prior treatment, Fibromyalgia, unexplained pain, sciatica following spinal surgery and the use of novel pain treatments. He also has expertise in pain management for rehabilitation and functional restoration after injury or serious illness.
Dr Ordman strongly believes in a personalised patient-centred approach to treatment, and he understands the impact long-term pain can have on a person's life. He is able to treat acute and long-term pain, even when the cause is unknown.
He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the president of the Pain Medicine Section of the Royal Society of Medicine. I also advise the Royal Society of Musicians and BAPAM (the British Association of Performing Arts Medicine).
