Dr Ayesha Siddiqi is an experienced Consultant Endocrinologist based at St Bartholomew's Hospital, also seeing private patients at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital. She completed her medical degree at the London Hospital Medical School in 1989 followed by her training at St Bartholomew's Hospital and the Royal London Hospital as a Lecturer. In 2003 she was awarded her PhD by the University of London. Dr Siddiqi also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr Siddiqi specialises in diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid problems, parathyroid disease and general endocrinology.
She has a senior role at St Bartholomew's Hospital and oversees the care of a large number of endocrine and diabetes patients. She has expertise in blood glucose monitoring, fine needle thyroid biopsy and pituitary function tests.
