Mr Charles Gibbons is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with over 20 years of experience, specialising in arthroscopic knee surgery, partial knee replacement (Oxford medial and lateral knee), sports injuries, and degenerative hip and knee conditions. He practises privately at The Lister Hospital in London and The New Victoria Hospital in Kingston upon Thames.

Mr Gibbons graduated from The London Hospital Medical College in 1989 before receiving basic surgical training in Bath, Chelmsford, and Stanmore. Following this, he worked in the home counties and London as a specialist orthopaedic registrar on the Chelsea and Westminster rotation.
In 2000, he completed a knee fellowship with John Barlett at The Austin and Repatriation Hospital in Melbourne, followed by another fellowship with Michael Sandow at The Royal Adelaide Hospital. He then served as a Senior Registrar at The Middlesex and UCH and became a Consultant at The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2002. From 2012 to 2015, he was the Clinical Lead for Orthopaedics, and he now trains specialist registrars and fellows.
Mr Gibbons is also involved in research and has published several peer-reviewed articles on knee arthroscopy and other topics in his field.
