Mr Ioannis Goutos is a Plastic Surgeon with a specialist interest in body contouring, scar management and burn care. He completed his medical degree at the University of London, followed by his training in the London and Oxford regions. Following the award of a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, his passion for burns, scar management and aesthetics led him to undertake further advanced training in South Asia, East Asia and South America.
Mr Goutos is based in London and currently sees private patients at Skin55, 152 Harley Street, the Phoenix Hospital Group and The London Scar Clinic. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Goutos also has a lifelong commitment to research, education and evidence-based practice. He is also the Director of the Academic Plastic Surgery programmes at Queen Mary University of London.
Mr Goutos has hosted and delivered several national and international educational workshops on scar management and continues to demonstrate his academic expertise through numerous publications and in his role as a peer reviewer for high impact medical, burn and scar related journals.
